Broccoli Rabe


  • 2 pounds fresh broccoli rabe, trim the ends
  • 3 garlic cloves, sliced into quarters
  • 1⁄4 cup olive oil
  • Salt and fresh black pepper to taste


Bring a large pot of salted water to boil. Add the broccoli rabe and boil for 10 minutes. Cook until tender but still rm. In a large sauté pan, add the olive oil and garlic and sauté the garlic until lightly brown. Drain the broccoli rabe and add to the sauté pan and sauté for 5 minutes.
