- 2 pounds fresh string beans 3
- 4 cups fresh tomatoes, sliced or 28 ounce can of whole tomatoes.
- 3 garlic cloves, chopped • 1⁄2 cup olive oil
- Salt to taste
Wash and clip o the ends of the string beans. Fill a medium saucepan with water. Once water begins to boil drop the string beans into the water and cook for 10-15 minutes.
Remove string beans and drain well. In a sauté pan, heat olive oil and garlic and fry for 2-3 minutes. en add the slices of tomatoes or can of whole tomatoes and drop the string beans on top of the tomatoes and cook together for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add salt to taste and serve.
